These family gathering dining rooms required hard-working spaces for both adults and children alike. Both dining spaces needed to be sophisticated and elegant but nothing too precious so that all ages would feel welcomed.
In the formal dining room we created a modern, bright space by layering many elements starting with new white washed wide plank oak floors and a large vintage custom rug. Custom raw silk drapes, a large oak extension Parsons style dining table surrounded by modern lush green performance velvet chairs, a dusty pink velvet Art Deco inspired buffet and matching velvet bar cabinet and double Art Deco mirrors round out the space. The kitchen eatery is nestled next to a rustic stone fireplace and creates a cozy and more casual space to enjoy time with family and friends.
