I have always loved design. Helping people to create their living space is a privilege, and, while my own design aesthetic will always influence the result, it is the collaboration with clients that I really enjoy. Helping them to create a space that is uniquely theirs, and reflects their personality and taste, is tremendously rewarding.
My own taste and aesthetic is informed by my background, growing up in Dublin, Ireland and completing my design training at the Dublin Institute of Design in 2006. The clean, defined lines typical of Dublin’s Georgian architecture are reflected in my preferences for the home, while the strong connection to the past and the importance of family are reflected in my use of heirloom pieces that truly personalize a space. The proximity of the ocean, and its influence on the cityscape, is reflected in my preference for open spaces and wide vistas.
Together with clients in Dublin, Boston and, since 2010, St. Louis I have created spaces that are functional, beautiful and reflections of the clients themselves; workspaces to enhance their productivity, entertainment spaces to enhance their social lives, and living spaces to simplify their day-to-day lives. As a designer, I have brought a fresh perspective, and new ideas, to problems that clients have thought insoluble, or outside their budget, changing their homes in ways they hadn’t imagined.
As a designer my goal is to help you create your ideal space, your ideal home, using my extensive resources and years of expertise to help you achieve your design goals. I look forward to our collaboration.
